Femstaal's product flow is based on the kanban principle
and consists of the following:

intake is processed in the ERP system |
| Material
and component requirements are checked automatically,
and where necessary internal and external orders are
being made |
| Base
material arrive by truck in our warehouse. These materials
are being handled and stored by a fully automatic warehouse. |
| All
necessary parts are manufactured. |
| All
the components being made at Femstaal, as well as all
the purchased components are assembled into mounting
calibres. The assemblies are welded in one of the fully
automatic welding robots. If necessary parts are machined
after welding. |
| According
to the client's wishes the parts can be powder coated
in the automatic coating installation. |
